Welcome to the Vertical Menu Applet, Professional Edition.

To produce your first html page containing the Vertical Menu applet simply copy the Jar file ( SIRvmenuPRO.jar ) to the same directory as you web page. Then open the Tag.txt and copy the example HTML from there into your web page.

We have put together an example html file to demonstate this - example.htm.

Configuring the applet to meet your requirements can now be done by adjusting parameters contained within <PARAM> tags. For parameter information please refer to our help pages. Simply click on the 'Vertical Menu System, Professional Edition' link and you will find the following topics,

Popup Window

In the evaluation version a small window will appear when the applet starts. This is not present in the full version.

Class and Jar files

The applet program file has a .class extension. The applet's Class file(s) have been compressed into one single Jar file ( SIRvmenuPRO.jar ) which improves the download time further. Therefore you will only need to place the Jar file in your web page's directory.
